Love to you.

I wish I’d known you before you were gone. I wish I’d been able to appreciate you and love you before we lost you. It’s nine years since you’ve been gone; but I guess you never really left. You’ve never really been gone at all. Because you’re here in everything, a part of everything, still. Om Tat Sat.

The only thing we really have to work at in this life is how to manifest love.

Happy birthday John. We wish you were still here. ♥

Very nearly missed the train.

Twin Fawns.

Let’s talk Bravo’s Work of Art. Let’s talk Peregrine Honig [and how she was robbed]. And let’s talk about the photograph she took of these twin fawns for her final show.

I can’t remember the last time I had such a visceral reaction to a piece of art. Something that hit me like a punch to the gut. It literally knocked the air out of me and overwhelmed me to the point of tears. I wanted to look at it forever and just cry. If there were any work of art that I could own and make the centerpiece of my visual life, it would be that.

When you’re sixty… eight.

Happy birthday, Paul.

Thank you for Eleanor Rigby, Man We Was Lonely, Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight, Let Me Roll It and well…. everything. Thank you for every single thing. With love.

I think people who can truly live a life in music are telling the world, ‘You can have my love, you can have my smiles. Forget the bad parts, you don’t need them. Just take the music, the goodness, because it’s the very best, and it’s the part I give.’

Happy birthday, lovely man ♥
